Leica M10-P Safari edition
Most of the photo’s are taken with the Leica M10-P Camera. The 28MM, 50MM and 90MM F2.0 Summicron lenses are a beautiful combination that will cover most of the circumstances to be photographed. Instead of the standard black or silver camera’s, this set is an olive green edition, which i personally like very much.
The Leica rangefinder camera is a manual operated and let’s you work for your photo’s. Shutterspeed, ISO, Diaphragm must be installed by hand, although the latest digital technic is in the camera, the art of taking pictures is up to the photographer.
Leica Q-P, 24 MP. 28MM Lens F1.7
Beside the Leica M10 am using the Leica Q-P as my second / backup camera.
The Leica Q is a bestseller full frame camera for the Leica Company in the digital era. The fixed 28MM F1.7 lens is specially designed for this camera. With it’s macro-mode possibility , it is a very versatile lens/camera combination, making ultra sharp images.
Leica 1, Model A, with Elmar 50MM F3.5 fixed lens 1928.
The most recent acquired Leica, a vintage Leica 1 on a camera auction, is my latest asset.
Leica (LEItz CAmera) from Wetzlar Germany is the company that in 1925, invented the portable full frame camera as we still use it today. This Leica 1 from 1928 is the first mass produced camera for the public. Still completely useable today with film inside instead of a digital sensor off-course and a fixed lens that already produced very sharp images. This camera has production number 8393. This little baby can still measure up to the today’ standards, having a very sharp lens.
Leica M10 Monochrome
The Leica M10 Monochrome is a very special outstanding camera with a 40 Mpeg black&White sensor. ,
This camera’s sensor lacks the colour filters, therefore the pictures made with this camera can only be in black, white and grey tones. Much more than a colour camera can produce.
Just like in the film days, by using an orange or yellow filter it is possible to adjust the pictures to emphasize the sky, skin tones etc. A technique used in the days when digital cameras did not exist yet.
This camera even give me more pleasure to work with, because of it’s outstanding quality it delivers.
